The team at the Cossé Law Firm takes great pride in getting involved in the community. As part of its community outreach efforts, the Cossé Law Firm recently sponsored a Stop the Violence rally at the Edith Sampson Playground in New Orleans.
Stop the Violence rallies aim to raise awareness of domestic violence and youth-related violent crimes in the community. The goal of these rallies is to help young people understand the consequences of engaging in violent behavior, and provide them with the tools they need to prevent violence. The rallies also give domestic violence victims the resources they need to seek safety and protect their families. Stop the Violence rallies take place throughout the country, however the Next Generation of Original Morning Star Full Gospel Baptist Church hosted the most recent rally in New Orleans.
People from all over the community attended the rally to show their support for these worthy causes. Because of the incredible turnout, the organizers have scheduled another Stop the Violence rally for July 28, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Edith Sampson Playground. The address is: 3211 Treasure St, New Orleans, LA 70126.
The Stop the Violence rally on July 28th will focus on giving adults and children the tools they need to put an end to violent crime in New Orleans. This family-friendly event will also feature live music, plenty of tasty food, and fun inflatable attractions for kids. Plus, the first 500 children to arrive at the event will receive a backpack packed with brand new school supplies. Be sure to bring your kids to the event early so they have an opportunity to win one of these prizes!
Don’t forget to mark your calendars now so you don’t miss this event. You can also stay up-to-date with the Cossé Law Firm’s other community outreach initiatives by connecting with the company on Facebook.
