Katelyn Donnelly

Born and raised in Chalmette, Katelyn joined the Cossé Law Firm as an associate attorney in 2018 after passing the Louisiana State Bar Exam. Katelyn represents clients in almost all types of personal injury claims. Her practice primarily focuses on seeking compensation and justice for the victims of car collisions, workplace injuries, and actions arising out of premises liability.

Katelyn graduated from Archbishop Hannan High School, soon after it relocated its campus to the Northshore following Hurricane Katrina. Katelyn then attended and graduated from Louisiana State University in 2015, with a B.A. degree in Political Science and a minor in Communication Studies. After graduating from LSU, she pursued a law degree at the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center. While in law school, Katelyn received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in her Legal Research & Writing course, an award given to the highest scoring student in a given law school class. She graduated from the LSU Law Center in 2018, receiving both a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and a graduate degree in comparative law.

Prior to joining the firm, Katelyn clerked for Southeastern Louisiana Legal Services in Baton Rouge during part of her time at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she gained exposure and experience in the area of Contracts and Landlord/Tenant Law.

Katelyn is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Academy of New Orleans Trial Lawyers, and the Louisiana Association for Justice. She is admitted to practice in all state courts in Louisiana as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
