Lance Engolia

Personal Injury Attorney, Lance Engolia, joined the Cossé Law Firm officially in August 2019 while awaiting the results of the Louisiana State Bar Exam. He spent two summers during law school clerking for our firm, learning the ins and outs of the personal injury field of law. Upon passing the Louisiana State Bar Exam, Lance accepted a position with our firm as an Associate Attorney and has truly found a passion for practicing personal injury law.

Lance continuously fights for fair settlements from insurance companies on behalf of his clients and has had great success thus far. He makes himself available to his clients 24/7 to help with any issues that may arise.

Lance was born and raised in Covington, Louisiana, where he attended and graduated from St. Paul’s High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration from Louisiana State University (LSU), with a minor in Business.

He later received both a Juris Doctorate degree and his graduate degree in Comparative Law from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center. While in law school, Lance served as the Vice President of the Sports Law Society and participated in trial advocacy competitions against some of the top law schools in the country.

Lance is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Academy of New Orleans Trial Lawyers, and the Louisiana Association for Justice. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Louisiana as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
