Alex Dimitry is an experienced personal injury lawyer who joined Cossé Law Firm in 2012 and has successfully negotiated settlements, tried cases to verdict, and resolved pretrial issues for victims of personal injury incidents.

Mr. Alex Dimitry joined Cossé Law Firm, LLC as an associate in April, 2012.   Over the past decade, Alex has successfully negotiated hundreds of settlements, tried case to verdict, and successfully resolved pretrial issues at the district court and appellate levels.  His practice focuses on seeking justice and reparations for personal injury victims, including those injured in automobile crashes, workplace occurrences, and premises incidents.

Alex was born and raised in New Orleans, where he graduated cum laude from Jesuit High School. Alex then received an academic scholarship to Birmingham-Southern College, where he earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration and was an officer for Sigma Nu Fraternity. Alex attended law school at LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center where he earned his Graduate Diploma in Civil Law and Juris Doctorate. Prior to finding his home at Cossé Law Firm, Alex worked in the areas of medical malpractice and toxic torts for a two other local law firms.

Alex is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Louisiana Association for Justice.  He is admitted to practice in every state court in Louisiana, in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, and in the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans.
